George Carroll Deal, 62 of McDaniels Circle, Newton died Monday, August 02, 2010 at his residence. Born May 6, 1948, he was the son of the late Norman Perry & Bertie Evangeline Howard Deal. George detailed cars and loved to restore and show cars & trucks. Two sisters, Barbara A. & (Ralph) Kanipe of Newton, Shirley Deal Brawley of Statesville; a brother, Norman E. & (Jeanne) Deal of Newton survive him. A brother, Bobby D. Dean preceded him in death. A Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Hank Rudisill will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
