George Potts

George Michael “Mike” Potts, age 68, of Charlotte died Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Lakeside Health & Rehab Center. Born Saturday, December 31st, 1955, he was the son of the late George Washington Potts and Mary Orlean Potts.

Survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Linda Potts and three children. Son, Trevor Michael Potts, Katherine. Son, Tyler Bardin Potts and Tania. Daughter, Ashleigh Potts Samuel and Nahum Samuel. He leaves behind his three wonderful grandchildren, Vivian Leigh Potts (8), Theodore Michael Potts (7), and Tate Matthew Potts (4).

His parents, George Washington Potts and Mary Orlean Potts preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Harris Campus in Charlotte on Wednesday, December 18. The visitation will begin at 10am with the Celebration of Life service to follow at 11:00am. The service will be performed by Ron Hamilton, John Harrell, and Pastor Clint Presley.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to the Benevolence Ministry at Hickory Grove Baptist Church.

Jenkins Funeral Home staff is not involved in the memorial service at the church.
