Georgia Carpenter

Georgia Ann Carpenter, 68, of Gastonia passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at her residence. Born Wednesday, January 7th, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Bill and Georgia Seagle Stamey. She loved life, dancing, and music. She will be remembered for the loving mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother that she was.

She is survived by two daughters Tammie Carpenter of Newton and Tracy Carpenter of Lincolnton; three sons Ray Carpenter Jr. (Ursula) of Hickory, Jason Carpenter of Conover, and Justin Carpenter of Gastonia; eighteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two sisters Cindy Franklin (Phil) of Lincolnton and Lisa Stamey of Newton; and four brothers Mike Stamey (Cathy) of Cherryville, Bill Stamey (Janice) of Lincolnton, Guy Stamey of Lincolnton, and Jerry Stamey of Lincolnton.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ray Carpenter Sr.
