Gerald Rowlett

Gerald Edward Rowlett 77 of Newton died Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born September 22nd, 1944 he was the son of William Rowlett and Doris Rowlett. He worked for over 50 years with General Electric. He was a member of His Image Ministries where he was a deacon and usher. He was graduate of Oklahoma University and an avid Sooner fan.

His wife of 41 years Carolyn Pennell Rowlett of the home, a son, Terry Joe Rowlett and wife Brenda of Gilbert, Arizona; a brother, Michael Rowlett and wife Betty of Oklahoma City, OK survive him.

The funeral will be 3:00 pm Thursday November 11, 2021 at His Image Ministries with Pastor Brad Spencer officiating. Burial will be at Jenkins Cemetery at Jenkins Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 pm Thursday at the church.
