Gheorghe Leahu, 83, of Hickory died Monday, May 22, 2023 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born November 8th, 1939 he was the son of the late Francis and Veronica Leahu.
Gheorghe is survived by his spouse, Veronica Leahu and children, Marcel Leahu Florin Leahu, Cornelia Leahu, Violeta Leahu, Dorina Leahu, John Leahu, Simona Leahu and Daniel Leahu.
His parents preceded him in death.
The funeral will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the First Romanian Pentecostal Church. The family will receive friends Friday, May 26, 2023 from 6pm-8pm at Jenkins Funeral Home. The burial will be Saturday following the service at Brookford City Cemetery.
