"Snowy" Glenn Michael Reese, 69, of Hickory, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022, at his residence, following a period of declining health.
Mr. Reese was born January 20, 1953, in Catawba County, to the late Martha Elizabeth Bridges and Glenn Albert Reese. He was a US Army Veteran, serving in Germany as an engineer. He was a devoted friend and employee at Houston Haircutters then later worked at JH Appliance for over ten years.
Survivors include his sister Nina Bridges Brewer, brother James Robert Reese “Runt”, brother Jeff Houston, niece Andrea Bridges Lee, nephew Tristen Propst, niece Kylee Brewer, niece Julie Anderson, niece Jaime Arnold, nephew Heath Winkler, nephew Matthew Winkler, nephew Chance Warren, nephew Jimmy Ray Reese, Jr., niece Marissa Houston, and niece Mackenzie Houston.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Ray Reese, his sister Teresa Ann Lail, and his mother Martha Elizabeth Bridges.
A memorial service will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Jenkins Funeral Home.
