Gloria Anthony

Gloria Magaline Anthony, 75, of Maiden died Monday, September 25, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born May 13th, 1948 she was the daughter of the late Russell and Ruth Nell Dugger.

Four daughters, Emma Starnes, Ruth Kiziah (David), Hope Mullins (Randy) and Virginia Anthony; her son, Joseph Anthony; her brother, Joe Dugger (Libby), nine grandchildren, Josh Starnes, Jordan Starnes, Jacob Starnes, Christopher Kiziah, Jeffrey Walker, Logan Mullins, Garrett Mullins, Allissa Reedy, Jada Pope and eleven great-grandchildren survive her.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Robert Anthony, her granddaughter, April Nicole Pressley and her grandson, Joey James Owings preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be 4:00 P.M. Friday, September 29, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Cunningham officiating.
