Gloria Pearl Houser 86 of Hickory died Thursday, January 18th, 2018 at Conover Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born December 31st, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Herbert Messner and Olive Kessler Houser. Her daughter, Holly Jo Kurtz and husband Odie of Claremont; two sons, Ronald lee Houser and wife Debbie of Newton and Dr. Ricky Allen Houser and wife Carmen of Northport, AL; two sisters, Charlene Herman and Linda Stewart; five grandchildren, Jennifer Lee Dyson, Clarissa Lydia Houser, Serena Houser, Odie Kurtz, Jr. and Joshua Kurtz survive her. A sister, Ruth and her husband, Donald Houser preceded her in death. No services are planned at this time. Please sign the online guestbook at www.jenkinsfuneralhome.net.
