Greer Buff

Greer Buford Buff, 79, of Hickory passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Magnolia Lane Nursing Home. Born May 27th, 1943 he was the son of the late Buford and Beddie Buff. He was a volunteer firefighter for many years and was proud to serve the Mt-View Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by Christy Morgan (Robert Joe) of Newton, and Teresa Smith of Hickory; two brothers, Earnest Buff of Franklin and Carroll Buff (Denise) of Hickory; a sister, Brenda Wells of Hickory; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Buford and Beddie Buff, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Crawley Buff; and son in law, Larry Smith.

The family will receive friends from 3-4PM, Saturday, March 25th at Valley View Baptist Church located at 1671 Mennonite Church Road, Hickory 28602. The celebration of life will be 4PM with Pastor Robert Joe officiating.

Jenkins Funeral Home staff is not involved in the memorial service at the church.
