Gregory Gaither

Gregory Scott Gaither, 53, of Hickory passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born April 16th, 1968 he was the son of the late Jerry Charles Gaither and Annie Louise Grier.

He is survived by his life partner of 37 years Paula Propst of Hickory; four daughters Sherita Propst of Newton, Sabrina Gaither of Hickory, Scottie Gaither Jenkins (Shawan) of Hickory, and Elissa Gaither of Hickory; three grandchildren Neveah Propst of Newton, Xiomara Propst of Newton, and Bianca Bost of Hickory; a sister Donna McKinley of Newton; two brothers Charles Gaither of Newton and Jonathan White of Hickory; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Gaither; and his grandmothers Ruth Shuford Helms and Louise Grier.
