Harold S. Burleson of Spruce Pine passed away on October 16, 2021.
He was born June 25, 1941 in Mitchell County. He was the son of the late Audie E. Burleson and Mary Silvers Burleson.
He is survived by his two sons, Dan (Bridget) Burleson of Connelly Springs and Audie (Barbara) Burleson of Hickory. He is survived by a sister Glenda Gragg of Crossnore. He is also survived by a grandson Ledger Burleson. He had a special relationship with his nephew Cecil (Kathy) Burleson and their children Cecil and Mary Burleson.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Joyce Burleson, and brothers Donald, Carroll and Dewey Burleson.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice of Mitchell County for the wonderful care they provided.
The family is planning a private memorial service.
