Harold Langford

Rev. Harold Langford, 77 of Catawba died Friday, April 10th, 2015 at Abernethy Laurels. Born June 17th, 1937 he was the son of Willard Langford and Fannie Rogers Langford. He was a founder of Lighthouse Ministries in Asheville, and many others. He served for many years as Associate Pastor of Covenant Christian Church in Conover. His wife of 60 years, Shirley Roberts Langford; five sons, Jerry Langford, Robin Langford and wife Renae, Fred Langford and wife Mary, Daniel Langford and wife Karen and Paul Langford and wife Pat; a sister, Irene Buckner; two brothers, Frank Langford and Donald Langford; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive him. The funeral will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 14th, 2015 at Covenant Christian Church with Bishop Donald Bledsoe officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm Tuesday, April 14th, 2015 at the church. Memorials may be made to Lighthouse Ministries, PO Box 1647 Enka, NC 28728.
