Harvey Palmer Rhyne 86 of Maiden died Friday, February 12, 2021 at Carolina Caring in Newton. Born September 27th, 1934, he was the son of the late Harvey Palmer Rhyne Sr. and Rev. Clara Cook Stevens.
His wife Betty Fay McCray Rhyne of the home; a daughter, Patricia Jones and husband Flynn of Maiden; two sons, Rev. Timothy Rhyne and his Fiancée Carole McRee, both of Maiden and Terry Rhyne of San Diego, CA; two grandchildren, Jennifer Clark and Joshua Lewis and five great grandchildren survive him.
A sister, Pauline Drum preceded him in death.
The funeral will be 3:30 pm Friday February 19, 2021 at the chapel of Jenkins Funeral Home with The Rev. Dr. Tim Rhyne and Lead Pastor Rick Haug from Living Word Church in Maiden officiating. Burial will follow at Maiden City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30 pm Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home.
