Homer Murray

Homer Daniel Murray 57 of 7th St SW Hickory, died March 30, 2010 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born July 23, 1952 in Catawba County, he was the son of Betty Carolyn Ratchford of Lincolnton. A US Army Veteran, he was very patriotic who served and loved his country and was a good friend to all who knew him. In addition to his mother, a sister, Linda Carole Hoard of N. Myrtle Beach, SC and a brother, Tony Holbrook of Maiden survive him. A celebration of Danâ??s life and worship ceremony will be at 1:00 pm Monday April 5th, 2010 at the chapel of Jenkins Funeral Home with Andrew Schaper officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Military rites will be provided by American Legion Post 16.
