Hope Kennedy

Hope Laraine Kennedy, 45, of Newton died Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born March 24th, 1976 she was the daughter of Tony Towery and Sharon Mauney.

Her father, Tony Towery; her mother, Sharon Mauney; stepfather, Mark Mauney; her son, Shaquan Kennedy and fiance Brittney Biles; a son, Jullian Kennedy, a son, Gabriel Gardner; a daughter, Olivia Gardner; a grandson, Zaydyn Kennedy, granddaughter, Emersyn Kennedy; nieces, Audriana Hunsucker and Makayla Propst; nephews, Landon Towery, Jaylen Propst and Jashon Propst and great-nephew, Kashton Sims survive her.

Her grandmother, Mary Ann Ball; a sister, Tonya Propst Short and a daughter, Quajuae Kennedy preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
