Howard Houser

Howard Lee Houser 85 of Hickory died Thursday, September 14th, 2017 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born May 27th, 1932 he was the son of the late Henry Houser and Edna Sigmon Houser.   His wife of 61 years, Betty Faye Martin Houser of the home; two daughters, Debbie Honeycutt and husband Wallace of Maiden and Penny Young of Newton; three sons, Wayne Houser and wife Dennie of Vale, Junior Houser and wife Trina of Claremont and Allen Houser of Hickory; a sister, Margaret Rudisill of Hildebran, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a great great grandchild survive him. A daughter, JoAnn Houser and three grandchildren preceded him in death. The funeral will be 3:00 pm Monday, September 18th, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Mennonite Church Cemetery.
