Ioan Hant

Ioan Hant 79, of Matthews died Thursday, October 13th, 2016 at Novant Health Medical Center in Matthews. Born September 24th, 1937, he was the son of the late Iacob and Ecaterina Hant. In addition to his wife Floare Burca Hant of the home; a daughter Lydia Jacob and husband Peter of Matthews; a son Emil Hant and wife Gabriela of Matthews; a sister Sena Bedelean of Romania; and two grandchildren Joshua and James Hant of Matthews survives him. The funeral will be 1:00pm Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at Romanian Baptist Church in Hickory with Ioan Urs and Radu Stir officiating. Burial will follow at Brookford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm -1:00 pm Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at Romanian Baptist Church 1751 Wallace Dairy Rd, Hickory, NC 28602.
