Ioan Simion, 67 of Taylorsville died Tuesday, January 26th, 2016 at Valley Nursing Center in Taylorsville. Born May 25th,1948, he was the son of the late George and Maria Simion. In addition to his wife Eleonora of 48 years, a daughter Lorena Calin of Taylorsville; three sisters Mariana Unici and husband Tom of Kentucky, Ana Plosc of Romania, Lidia Dalea of Romania; three grandchildren Victor Calin, Amelia Calin and Daniel Calin of Taylorsville survive him. The funeral will be 2:00 pm Thursday, January 28th, 2016 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Albertino officiating. Burial will follow at Brookford Cemetery.
