Iris Nellie Kelley, 78, of Hickory died Monday, April 11, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born Friday, June 18th, 1943 she was the daughter of the late Robert Lloyd Eggers and Lucy Eggers.
She was hard working, but in her spare time she enjoyed NASCAR, gardening, and going to yard sales with her sister.
She is survived by her son Michael Hartline and his wife Charlie of Dodgeville, WI, daughter Margaret McAlister of Hickory, son Doug McAlister of Hickory, Michael McAlister of Connelly Springs, and daughter Angel Earp of Greenwood, SC, sister Margaret Sue Alcorn of Indiana, brother Lloyd Alfred Eggers of Sugar Grove, NC, sister Mary Nell Shuford, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Scottish Rite for Children or to Millsaps Cemetery 183 Stone Mountain Rd., Vilas, NC 28692.
