Biography Jack Richard Sculthorpe, 85 of Newton passed away Friday, October 9th, 2015 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born December 12th, 1929 he was the son of the late Albert and Marry Desormeaux Sculthorpe.
In addition to his wife Dora, a daughter Jo-Anne Price and husband Robert of Bangor,PA; a son Brian Sculthorpe of Newton; five grandchildren Jason Sculthorpe of Hickory, Martin Price of Roatan, Honduras, Jessica Price and fiancé Dane of Mahwah, NJ, and Ian Sculthorpe of Union, Ky, and Ethan Sculthorpe of Lincolnton survive him.
