Jackie Mashburn

Jackie Aaron Mashburn 82 of Conover died Tuesday, December 26th, 2017 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born March 30th, 1935, he was the son of the late Labron (Red) Mashburn and Myrtle Estes Mashburn. Jackie served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1958 before moving home to North Carolina after meeting his wife Margaret in Brussels Belgium. Jackie was an avid outdoors men and hunter and was happy in the woods.    His son Mark Mashburn of Conover; a sister Linda Lambert and husband Bill of Patterson, NC; four grandchildren John Mashburn, Ally Mashburn, Chirstopher Dunn, Daniel Dunn and wife Nina; and one great grandchild Meadow Dunn survive him. In addition to his parents, Jackie is preceded in death by his wife Margaret Mashburn; his daughter Rebecca Dunn; sister Peggy Burleson; and daughter in law Cheri Mashburn.
