July 27, 2012 - July 27, 2012 Jackson Scott Miller, infant son of Dustin and Sable Cranford Miller of Vale, NC, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, July 27, 2012. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather, Stony Miller and maternal grandfather Jackson Cranford. Loved ones left to cherish his memory include his mother and father, Dustin and Sable Cranford Miller of the home; paternal grandparents, Scott and Princess Miller of Vale, NC and Chalk and Darlene Wetmore of Boone, NC; maternal grandmother, Chastity Willis and maternal step-grandfather, Craig Willis of Cherryville, NC; paternal great-grandmother, Judy Miller of Statesville, NC; paternal great-grandmother, Nettie Gooden, of Lincolnton, NC and paternal great-grandfather, Arnold Curtis, of Vale, NC; maternal great-grandparents, Randy and Nicole Baxley of SC; paternal godparents, John and Gena Carver, of Hickory, NC; along with a number of aunts and uncles. The funeral will be 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Newton. The Rev. Roy Pierce will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., one hour prior in the Chapel. A private burial will be at Crestview Baptist Church, Statesville at a later date.
