James Ashley

James Harold Ashley 52 of Hickory died Friday October 18th, 2013. Born September 14th, 1961 he was the son of Martha Ashley Shiffler of Charlotte and the late Thomas Perry Ashley, Sr. In addition to his mother; four sons, Steven Overcash, Brian Overcash, Joseph Ashley and Christopher Ashley all of Hickory; a sister, Linda Ashley Williams of Matthews; two brothers, Thomas Perry "Buddy" Ashley, Jr. of Fort Mill, SC and Jerry Ashley of Charlotte; eight grandchildren survive him. The funeral will be 3:00 pm Tuesday October 22nd, 2013 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Edwards officiating. Burial will be private at Hart Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 pm prior to the service Tuesday October 22nd, 2013 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
