James Carr

James Edward Carr,79 of Hickory died Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born  January 1st,1938. He was the son of the late James Carr and Mary Orfield Carr. James was retired from Griffin Security.  He is survived by 3 daughters; Julie Upchurch of Conover, Lisa Lee of Hickory and Sheri Davis of Piney Creek, NC; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents; his wife Anne Novella Carr; 2 great grandchildren, Noah Ramseur and Texas Lewis preceded him in death. No services are planned at this time.
