James Robert Moretz, 49, of Newton, died Monday, November 19th, 2018 at his home. Born January 15th, 1969 he was the son of James Moretz and Gloria Cross Staines.
His parents, James Moretz Sr., Gloria Jeanne Cross and step-mother, Cindy Moretz; four sons, (Levi) James Robert Moretz III, Justin Eric Moretz, Caleb Leland Moretz and Brent Anthony Moretz; three daughters, Jessica Lynn Moretz, Felicia Dawn Moretz and Tiffany Michelle Moretz; a brother, Willet Moretz and wife Adonna, a sister; Angela Browne and husband Aaron; two half-brothers, Matthew Moretz and wife Renee, and Andrew Moretz and wife Holly; a step-brother, Garland Lee Ramsey, three grandchildren; Lucas Willis, James Small and Ava Small; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins survive him.
His two step-fathers, Larry Lord Ramsey and Jimmy Cross, and two children, Chris Patt and Little Robbie Moretz preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 pm Friday, November 23rd, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Hayton officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am-1:00 pm Friday, November 23rd, 2018 at the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home .
