James Small

On June 1, 2022, James Arnold Small passed away at the age of 88. He was the son of James Oscar Small and Pearl Margaret Small. Mr. Small was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Small married on May 15, 1962.

He is survived by his four children Sandra Small Lane, of Myrtle Beach, SC, James Todd Small of Cherryville, NC, Patti Armstrong of Florida and Debbie Eisley of Greensboro, NC.

He was also blessed with 10 siblings, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

He had many extended family members who loved him, both biological and non-biological.

He was very special to everyone. He was loving, caring, kind spirited and very funny. He was generous to a fault. It has been said that he would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it.

Those that had the pleasure of meeting him will remember his kindness, but mostly his wit. He will be greatly missed. By his request there will not be a service.
