Jamie Swim

Jamie Lee Swim, 43, of Hickory passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born February 4th, 1978 he was the son of Charles Douglas Swim and Karen Ann Miller. He worked at Hendrick Honda Hickory for 7 years as a service provider. Jamie was straight forward at times but he had an off the cuff sense of humor that was hard to compete with. Jamie was full of life and lived everyday like it was his last. He loved to fish, but more than anything he loved his son Angelo, his family and friends the most.

He is survived by his son Angelo Swim of Greenville SC; his mother Karen Miller of West Virginia; a brother Charles Swim (Tina) of Hot Springs AR; his forever love Misty Ponder of Hickory and his three bonus children Amber Coxey of Spartanburg, SC, Jake Wyatt of Hickory, and Jason Wyatt of Hickory; special extended family David Lusk (Lori) of Hickory; and a host beloved coworkers.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Swim.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm Sunday, December 19th, 2021 at Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home, it will be a time to mingle and share memories of Jamie.
