Janice Levada Coulter, 62 of Newton died Sunday, December 4th, 2016 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born July 18th, 1954 she was the daughter of the late Robert Coulter and Priscilla Coulter. She is a 1970 graduate of Newton-Conover High School and attended CVCC. Janice loved to sing and dance. She enjoyed traveling and loved going to Myrtle Beach. Two sons, Raymont Linebarger and wife Maritza of Tucson, Arizona and Ivan Linebarger of Tucson, AR; three sisters, Deborah Coulter and Frances Coulter both of Newton and Beth Coulter of Maiden; a brother, Roger and wife Cornelia Coulter of Newton; four grandchildren, Alexander, Elise, Tyson and Treyvon; a great grandchild, Aleigha Linebarger; and a number of nieces and nephews survive her. A son, Clifford Linebarger; a sister, Trinia Coulter; four brothers, Willie Coulter, Johnny Coulter, Kenneth Coulter and Calvin Coulter; and a niece, Lashasta Coulter Jackson preceded her in death. The funeral will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 10th, 2016 at Mt. Olive Baptist in Newton with Pastor Cathy Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery.
