Janice Smith

Janice Faye Smith, 74, of Lincolnton died Saturday, February 25, 2023 at her residence. Born November 19th, 1948 she was the daughter of the late Coye and Ruth Sain. She retired from the City of Lincolnton after 19 years of service.

Her daughter, Stacey Beaver and husband Gary and grandchildren, Lindsey Gaus and Micah Beaver; great-granddaughter, Aurora Beaver; two sisters, Betty Houser and husband Jim and Gail Leonhardt and husband Gary and four brothers, Keith Sain and wife Linda, Dean Sain and wife Robin, Farrell Sain and Johnny Sain and wife Myra survive her.

In addition to her parents, her spouse, Gary Smith and her granddaughter, Alexis Beaver preceded her in death.

The funeral will be 3:00 P.M. Wednesday March 1, 2023 at Liberty Baptist Church of Maiden with Pastor Larry Blakley officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service and burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Lincolnton.
