Jean Niles

Jean Edelta Niles, 70 of Charlotte Amalie St. Thomas, Virgin Islands died Saturday November 30th, 2013 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born March 3rd, 1943 in the Virgin Islands, she was the daughter of the late Ivan George Leerdam and Isora Henrita Leerdam. Her husband of 52 years, Arthur Niles of St. Thomas, VI; two daughters, Deborah Niles Harrigan of St. Thomas and Bridget Niles Conow of St. Thomas; four sons, Arturo B. Niles of Hickory NC, Navaldo Niles of Kissimmee, FL, Anthony D. Niles of St. Croix, Julien Maduro of St.Thomas; a brother, Alvin Leerdam of Tulsa, OK; five sisters, Mavis Pearson of NY, Joan Mason of St. Thomas, Easlyn Ruan of Anguilla, Joyce Salem of St. Thomas, Ferna Leerdam of Atlanta, GA; and a special friend Elder Piper, survive her. Two daughters, Jeannette Niles Schneider and Juliene Maduro and three brothers George Ivan Leerdam, Godfrey Fredricks, Roy Dalton Leerdam; and Godfrey Fredricks, Sr. preceded her in death. The funeral will be December 19th, 2013 at The Philadelphia Seventh Day Adventist Church in St Thomas, VI. Burial will follow at Eastern Cemetery in St. Thomas.
