Jean Settlemyre Tashman, 85, of Lincolnton passed away Thursday, April 20th, 2023 at Serenity Care. Born, February 6th, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Arthur Pinkney Townsend and Melba Townsend. She was passionate about people and a major force in growing healthcare in the Catawba County area.
She is survived by two children Lisa Surby (Danny McNeely) of Hickory and Walt Settlemyre (Char Smith) of Austin Texas; two grandchildren Kris Mofford of Austin Texas and Hannah Surby of Lincolnton.
The visitation will be Tuesday, April 25th from 2-4PM at Jenkins Funeral Home.
