Jeannie Wise

Jeannie Clarke Wise 71 of Maiden died Friday, August 9, 2019 at Carolina Caring in Newton. Born, September 19th, 1947 in Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of Jack Wesley Clarke and Helen Hooker Clarke. She attended TC Roberson High School in Asheville.



She was preceded in death by her father Jack Clarke. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Ronnie Wise of the home; her daughter Rhonda Edwards and husband Phil of Maiden; her mother Helen Clarke of Knoxville, TN; her sister Vickie Cope and husband Monroe of Asheville, NC; two brothers Myron Clarke and wife Gina; and Leon Clarke of Knoxville, TN; a grandson who was the joy of her life Brandon Edwards of Greenville, NC; and several nieces and nephews.



Jeannie was the Owner of Standard Electrical Sales since 1991 and retired December of 2017.  She was well known in the industry and was loved by her customers. Many referred to her as “Mama” or “Miss Jeannie.”  She enjoyed the simple things in life mainly anything that included spending time with her family and friends.

A “casual”  Celebration of Life will be held Sunday August 18, 2019 at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church of Maiden. The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:30pm and will be followed by a short service.
