Jeffrey Cooley

Jeffrey Jay Cooley, 63, of Granite Falls died Sunday, August 13, 2023. Born Monday, May 23rd, 1960 he was the son of the late Raymond Willis Cooley and Marylie Lottie Aloi. Jeff's passion was flying. A passion he loved to share with his family and friends. His successful business, Blue Flame Propane of Middletown, NY allotted him the opportunities to enjoy fellowship with others and travel. Jeff was a man of kindness, principle and joy that will be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Lisa Cooley; his daughter, Jessica Dolittle and her husband Shawn; his son, Jason Cooley and his wife Lindsey and his son, Oliver Thompson. Jeff is also survived by his brother, Doug Cooley and his wife, Maureen; his sister, Cynthia DuVall and her husband Jim and his sister, Melissa Borden. Jeff is also survived by six grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and the beloved family cat, Chester and and countless friends.

His parents preceded him in death.

The memorial service will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Conover officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home.
