Jeremy Brown

Jeremy Scott Brown, 24 of Hudson died Sunday May 25th, 2014 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born February 26th, 1990 he was the son of Eric Brown of Hudson and Wendi Oliver of Conover. He was employed by Fairfield Chair Company in Lenoir. He was a staff sergeant in the National Guard serving since 2007 and was stationed in Dunn, NC. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family. His father, Eric D. Brown and wife Brandi of Hudson, NC; his mother Wendi Oliver and husband Jerry of Conover; a sister, Chelsie Brown of Conover; two nieces, Emilee Lail and Anna Lail of Conover; paternal grandmother, Wanda English of Long View, NC; maternal grandmother, Sheila Helms and husband Rick of Catawba, NC; maternal grandfather, Donnie Rockett and wife Vicki of Conover;two great grand parents Bill and Gevia Eggers of Maiden; two uncles, Conway Brown and wife Angela of Bethlehem and Jody Rockett of Claremont survive him. The funeral will be 3:00 pm Friday May 30th, 2014 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Shane Higginbotham officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Lutheran Church in Claremont. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 pm Friday May 30th, 2014 at Jenkins Funeral Home.
