Jeremy Truitt

Jeremy Lee Truitt, 18 of North Main Ave., Maiden died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Born December 9, 1992 he was the son of Gary Duane Truitt and Sandra Leigh Arney Truitt of the home. Jeremy was a senior at Maiden High School and planned to enter the US Navy. He loved music, automobiles and golf carts. He was proud of a very special Chevy Blazer he owned. Jeremy was active in his youth group at Living Word Church. In addition to his parents, Gary and Sandy; a sister, Aaliyah Truitt of the home; two brothers, Josh Kirby and Jordan Truitt of the home; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; paternal grand-parents, Charles & Lynn Thompson of Russell, Pa.; maternal grand-parents, Janette Arney of Newton; and maternal great grand-mother, Pearl Arney of Conover survive him. Maternal grand-father, Ralph ?Pete? Arney and paternal grand-parents, Manuel & Mae Truitt preceded him in death. A celebration of Life for Jeremy will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at Living Word Church. The Rev. Mike Ainsworth and Rev. Herman Hudson will officiate. A private burial will be at Southside Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at Living Word Church. Pallbearers include, Eric Silva, Josh Fortney, Daniel Bowman, Chase Beal, Alex Kincer & Chris Impson.
