Jerry Winferd Loftin, 76, of Lincolnton died Sunday, October 14th, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center Lincoln. Born January 2nd, 1942 he was the son of the late Fate Morgan Loftin and Nellie Ewing Loftin.
His daughter, Lea Anne Loftin of Lincolnton; four brothers, Herbert Lee Loftin of Huntersville, Toney Loftin and wife Marilyn of Denver, Morgan Loftin, Jr. of Lincolnton and Terry Loftin and wife Faye of Denver survive him.
His wife, Mary Ann Whiteside Loftin; a son, Jerry Winferd Jr., a brother, Walter Loftin and a sister, Jean Loftin Burns preceded him in death.
A Gathering of Friends will be from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm Wednesday, October 24th, 2018 at the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Carolina Caring 3975 Robinson Road Newton, NC 28658 or to the charity of one's choice.
