Jerry Wellman

Jerry (Cotton) David Wellman Sr. 67 of Ellenboro died Wednesday, September 20th, 2017 at CMC Charlotte. Born January 17th, 1950 he was the son of the late Johnny Wellman and Helen Cook Wellman.  Two sons Jerry David Wellman Jr. and wife Tammy of Rutherfordton, Jamie Wellman and fiancée Michelle of Lawndale; Johnny Wellman of Lawndale; Terry Wellman of Lawndale and five grandchildren survive him.  In addition to his parents, a brother Allen Wayne Wellman preceded him in death.   The funeral will be 2:00pm Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at Zion Hill Baptist Church Lawndale (8173 Old NC 18) with Pastor Bobby Holtsclaw and Pastor Chuck Poole officiating. Burial will follow Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm-2:00 pm Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at the Church.
