Jesse Howze

Jesse Norwood Howze, 84 of Hickory went home to be with his Lord Friday, June 17th, 2016 at his residence. Born July 22nd, 1931, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Hilda Viola Howze. Four daughters Mary Fouts and husband Mark, Liz Van Horn and husband Jeff, Becky Denton and husband Tim, Lydia Shook and husband Bud; a son David Howze; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grand children survive him. In addition to his parents, his wife of 55 years Marguerite Jane Howze; their son Jonathan Daniel Howze; and two brothers Benjamin Howze Jr. and Charles Howze preceded him in death. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00 pm Saturday, June 18th, 2016 at Jenkins Funeral Home. A private funeral Service and burial will be held at a later date.
