Jesse Jones

Jesse Faye Jones, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center. A native of Hampton Virginia, Faye was born on November 28, 1945. She was the daughter of James Burnell Vassar and Ruby Mae Vassar who have both preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her grandson David Martin Smyth IV.

Faye's memory will be cherished by her surviving family including her husband Steve Jones; her children Lisa Simmons, Ronda Belvin (her husband Paul), and Angie Ellis (her husband Tom); her grandchildren Amanda Koons, Jeremy Belvin, Skyler Smith, Tomy Ellis, and Ty Ellis; her great grandchildren Charlotte Smyth and Jaxon Koons.

Faye's faith was strong and she often said, "I know I will see my girls in Heaven." Revelation 21:4 (NIV) says, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain." She is finally free from her pain and a lifetime of struggles.

A private memorial will be held at a future date.
