Jesse Taylor

Jesse Joel Taylor, 79, formerly of Kings Mountain died Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center. Born November 5th, 1943, he was the son of the late Seldon Thamer Taylor and Luria Wilson Taylor. He was a lover of working on things mechanical. He played guitar and loved to play Bingo. He could be seen at Flea markets regularly.

Two daughters, Talina Short and husband Dean of Kings Mountain and Kim Taylor of Gastonia; three sons, Michael Pressley of Cherryville, Brandon Taylor of Gastonia and Jimmy Dallas Taylor of Gastonia; two sisters, Cathy Taylor of Lincolnton, Dorothy Heavner Sigmon and husband Milton of Iron Station; a brother, Ted Taylor of Dallas TX survive him.

In addition to his parents, two brothers Larry and Gene preceded him in death.

The funeral will be 3:00 PM Monday September 11, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Barry Brookshire officiating. family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM at the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home. Burial will be private at Holly Brook Cemetery in Lincolnton.
