Jimmy Fay Taylor, 67, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Frye Regional Medical Center. He was born July 26, 1942 to his parents; the late Mote & Essie Mae Reynolds Taylor. Jimmy was a Veteran of the US Army and served 8 years with the National Guard. He was a member of Leonards Fork Baptist Church in Lincolnton, loved the Lord & is now home with the Lord.  His wife; Betty Kiser Taylor of the home, three daughters; Darlene Bays of Newton, Ann Taylor of the home, Crystal Street of Valdese, four sons; Tim Taylor of Lincolnton, Terry Taylor of Lincolnton, Scott Taylor of Lincolnton, Danny Ramsey of Hickory, five sisters; Shirley Herman of New York, Monda Remington of Valdese, Robin Workman of Lincolnton, Judy Greene of Lincolnton & Wanda Taylor, a brother; Wayne Taylor of Indian Trail, NC, 8 grand children and two great-grandchildren survive him.  A sister; Patty Bivens preceded him in death.  A celebration of Jimmyâ??s life will begin Monday, 3:00 pm at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel on Startown Road in Newton with Rev. Robert Goins and Rev. Darrell Saunders officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Leonards Fork Baptist Church in Lincolnton. Memorials may be made to: Leonards Fork Baptist Church, Leonards Fork Baptist Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
