Jink Mace

Jink Leander Mace, 78 of Bridal Path Drive, Vale died May 14, 2009 at Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born December 15, 1930 in Gaston County, he was the son of the late William Horace and Sula Ethel Campbell Mace. He was a Security Guard for Southern Furniture. A daughter, Janice Diane Moore of Claremont; three sons, Ricky Eugene Mace of Claremont, Ronnie Alan Mace of Vale And Mikael Wayne Mace of Vancouver Washington State; Stepson, Tracy Randolph of Catawba; a brother, Ted Mace & wife Janet of Newton; five grandchildren, Angel, Dillon, Cindy, Libby and Kenny and a special friend, Claudia Lail of Hickory Survive him. A sister, Sue Mace Smith preceded him in death. A graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday May 20, 2009 at Catawba Memorial Park.
