John Wesley Evans Jr. 77 of Tega Cay, SC went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Atrium Health Pineville. Born August 11th, 1942 he was the son of John Wesley Evans Sr. and Mary Louise Evans.
His wife Gail Seebode Evans of the home; sons John Wesley Evans III (Susan) of Brownsville, TN, and James Lawrence Kirkland, Jr. (Janet) of Hendersonville, NC; daughters Pamela Diane Billings (Michael Joe) of Collierville, TN, and Kathleen Kirkland Nieman (David Andrew) of Matthews, NC; sisters Frances Durby, Donna Dawson, Brenda Nabors (Jack); 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, survive him.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday August 15, 2020 at Carolinas Cornerstone Church.
In lieu of flowers any memorial donations may be sent to Carolinas Cornerstone Church, 1790 Gardendale Rd, Fort Mill, SC 29708.
