John Hickok

John Edward Hickok 39 of Vale, NC died Saturday November 9th, 2013 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born March 18th, 1974 he was the son of Edward John Hickok and Karen Sue Hickok of Akron, OH. While in Canada he was a driving instructor. He was a licensed chaplain with Christ For The Nations Bible Institute in Dallas, TX. He was a loving husband who adored his children. His first priority was Jesus Christ and he finished well. In addition to his parents, Edward John and Karen Hickok of Akron, OH; his wife of 12 years, Gail Hickok of the home; two daughters, Abigail Hickok and Faith Hickok both of the home; two sons, Micah Hickok and Andrew Hickok both of the home; a sister, Jennifer DePree and husband Carl of Maryland; a niece, Madeline Page DePree of Maryland; Paternal grandmother, Velma Louise Hickok of Akron, OH survive him. Memorials may be made to Mountain View Mennonite Church, 5252 Hwy 10 West Hickory, NC 28602 http://mtviewmennonitechurch.wordpress.com/contributions/. The funeral will be 2:30 pm Thursday November 14th, 2013 at Mountain View Mennonite Church with Pastor Chuck Hostetter officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Mennonite Church Cemetery.
