John Myer

John Henry Myer, 79, of Hickory formerly of Highspire went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 11th, 2018 at his home. Born June 19th, 1939 he was the son of the late Amos Myer and Eleanor Wenger Myer.
In addition to his wife of 58 years Marian (Gayle) Myer; two sons John Myer and wife Susan of Hickory, Phil Myer and wife Lynne of Hickory; a sister Rachel Miller and husband Glenn of Altoona, PA; a brother Chuck Myer and wife Kay of Medford, OR; seven grandchildren Kristin, Lauren, Erin, Jonathan, Adrian and wife Andrea, Bethany, and Caitlynn survive him.
In addition to his parents; his two sisters Lois Bucher, Jean Landis preceded him in death.
He is also survived by two brother in laws James Bucher and Richard Landis.
The funeral will be 3:00pm Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at Hickory Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Kyle DeLong officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at Hickory Church of the Nazarene.
