John Plump

John Henry Plump, 74 of Newton passed away Sunday, October 4th, 2015 at his home. Born January 3rd, 1941 he was the son of the late Arnold and Ethel Halstead Plump. In addition to his wife June Plump of the home, a daughter Kimberly Lee and husband Robert of Jacksonville, Fl; a son Steven Plump and Fiancee Shelly Brinkman of Newfane, NY; three step sons, Dale Herrick of Erie, PA, Donald Herrick of Clarence Center, NY, Douglas Herrick of Albion, NY; a sister Mildred Jackson of Chapin,SC; two brothers Richard Plump and wife Debbie of Lockport, NY, William Plump of Chapin, SC; and three grandchildren survive him. In addition to his parents,a son Brian Plump; a step daughter Darlene McKernan; and a sister Marguerite Dickson preceded him in death. A Memorial service will be 5:00 pm Saturday, October 17th, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall in Hickory with William Workman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
