John Robinson

John (Pete) Wilfong Robinson IV 86, of Newton passed away Wednesday, April 13th, 2016 at his home. Born January 16th, 1930, he was the son of the late John W. Robinson III and Russell Wright Robinson. In addition to his wife of 53 years Carolyn; a daughter Donna Simmons and husband Mark of Newton; two sons Lee Robinson and wife Sandra of Newton, Jack Robinson of Newton; a brother Dr. Alfred (Nuke) Robinson and wife Barbara of Newton; five grandchildren Jacob Simmons, Thomas Simmons, Stephen Simmons, Beth Robinson and Daniel Robinson survive him. A first wife, Ruth M. Bishop (died 1962) preceded him in death. A Memorial Service will be 3:00pm Saturday, April 16th, 2016 at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church with The Reverend Randall Cauble officiating The family will receive friends following the service.
