John Edward Teal, 89, of Sherrills Ford passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at The Citadel in Winston Salem. He was born October 29th, 1933.
He was a paratrooper in the US Army.
He is survived by his step-daughters Nellie Mashburn (and her husband Gilbert Mashburn) and Shirley Rogers, his grandchildren Pam Mashburn (and her husband Shane Kelley), Kevin Mashburn, Locke Davis and family, and Dale Davis and family.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Beverly Teal, his son Eddie Teal and two step-daughters Carolyn Davis and Vickie Teal.
A private family gathering is being scheduled for a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
