John Thompson

John Alan Thompson, 60, of Hickory passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his home. Born February 9th, 1960 he was the son of the late Ivey Joe Thompson and Ruth Gregory Owens.  John was a sweet, fun, and loving man who will be greatly missed. It is said that to know John was to like him.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth "Ella" Thompson; a son Graham Thompson (Brandy); a brother Kyle Thompson (Marla); and three grandchildren Hunter, Dayton, and Mason.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Deborah Teague.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm  Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a brief Celebration of Life immediately following the receiving on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2020.
