John Watson

John Campbell Watson 79, of Conover, NC passed away peacefully at home Sunday, January 16, 2022. He was born April 24th, 1942 in London England and moved to Lincoln Park where he graduated in 1960. After graduation he served in US Army. John married his lovely wife of 33 years, and moved from Michigan to North Carolina. He worked for Armacell until he retired. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his wife and spending time at the pool side with family and friends. John's sensoe of humor and wisdom will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife Vicky Watson; a mother-in-law Margaret DeYoung; a daughter Brenda Pope (Michael); a son Dirk Chontos; four grandchildren Kodey, Gregory, Cory and Alexzandra; and one great grand child. He is also survived by his sister Agnes Little (Ron); his brother William Watson; numerous nieces and nephews; two brother-in-laws Tom DeYoung (Rebecca) and Michael DeYoung; and a sister-in-law Cheryl Cheney (Douglas).

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Watson.

John's wishes were not to have a service or memorial and the family will honor his wishes.
